I was delighted to get some coverage in the Press & Journal recently. I talked to journalist Charlotte Thomson and we discussed how difficult it is to talk about death. How do you bring up the subject without upsetting people or feeling gloomy ? It comes to us all and if we discuss with our loved ones what we want, and what matters to us, it makes their job easier when it's time for us to go.
It's a delicate balancing act of picking your moment and getting the right tone into the conversation. I was concerned that my suggestion of using humour, when appropriate, may sound flippant, but Charlotte assured me it didn't. Please read the article and let me know what you think.
